“Liane Rockwell designed my kitchen several years ago. Since I love to cook and especially bake, my former kitchen could not comfortably do both because it was too small for my needs. She designed my kitchen to be larger by taking down four walls to accommodate floor to ceiling cabinets with plenty storage space for all my variety of bakeware, cookware, spices and food items. The cabinets all had pull out drawers which makes it easier to get items and more organized. Some of the cabinets were designed to house a double oven, microwave, cooktop and a huge sink. In the center was more storage cabinets, a nine foot island for my workspace and a small sink for prep work. My former kitchen was not very well lit, so Liane placed ceiling lights to make my new kitchen brighter. Throughout the whole process of ordering cabinets, hardware, lighting, tile flooring, marble tile for the backsplash and appliances, Liane was always available to answer any questions. What really impressed me the most is her tenacity to have the work done according to her design. She was at my house everyday to check on the contractor and workers. There were no snafus during the remodeling and we felt confident to leave it to her for us to go out of town for a week. The kitchen was painted and everything in her design was in its place. When the work started, it took 6 weeks to complete. My kitchen is now a gathering place for my family to cook holiday and special occasion meals. It is a well used kitchen but it still looks new.
